Hens with Pens Online: Models & Tutors have lined up help their community and as such we are launching our programme of online events for both adults and children from Saturday 21st March.
Hens with Pens wanted to try and give you a bit of a boost! Help with mindfulness and reduce some isolation you may feel and will be offering a programme of online art classes and life drawing classes for the next couple of months absolutely free for our amazing groups.
So you’ve been commissioned with that all-important duty of maid of honour! You’re excited and buzzing with ideas but the pressure is on! When we think of creating a big event we automatically want to make it as memorable as possible, for most people that seems to involve grand gestures and complicated and extravagant plans which inevitably cause a whole lot of bother and very little enjoyment. Keep it relaxed, we want happy memories not memories of us wishing it was over already so we can breathe.
We often get asked if we can accommodate a theme for our life drawing events, it seems quite a few of you out there relish the opportunity for a bit of dressing up!! AND ‘Why Not?’ we say!!
Brides, Grooms and the whole wedding planning party are prone to getting overwhelmed and stressed. How many times CAN you argue over the colour of napkins? We talk to Resilience Coach Jasmine Ross on how to survive
We see all sorts of fantastic experimentation from both our models and our tutors in their professional and party lives. It’s amazing to see how our hens develop during and after a party we have so many that come back to us after an event and say they took up some form of art after the event.
We can all draw because we can all make marks on a piece of paper with a pen/pencil/charcoal. I used to tell my kids “mummy loves scribble”, and amazingly you can start scribbling and simply form it into the shape of something
Here at the henhouse we know all too well how difficult hen-wrangling can be!
Some say it’s an ancient art wrapped in mysticism and mythology, ancient runes and.. well maybe just a lot of texts and chasing these days!
