Tutor Sarah studied her degree in fine art sculpture at Camberwell College of Art and gained a master’s degree from the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2005. She is a practising artist, curator and university lecturer. Sarah has exhibited both nationally and internationally and also has extensive experience of gaining public and Arts Council England funded community-based projects. Drawing is fundamental to Sarah’s wider work, which includes sculpture and collage. Visual and physical repetition, decoration and a need to reinvent are common themes. Sarah wants her work to evoke feelings of disorientation and unease, whilst also creating elation and joy.
Devon hen party life drawing favourite Liam is 6’3 and making a career in modelling, not just with us! He loves sports and enjoys going to the gym. He has a penchant for tattoos and will be under the needle as soon as possible. He works hard and believes in fulfilling his dreams…Go Liam!
Kate trained in fine arts at Brighton, London and Falmouth. Based in the South West, she exhibits her drawings and watercolours regularly in national juried shows. Last year, Kate made all the original drawings for Marc Almond’s album ‘The Velvet Trail’ using a process she calls ‘becoming the hollow bone.’ Kate enjoys travelling to wild places, especially the Hebrides and Italian national parks.
Yuki graduated with a 1st class degree in Fine Art Painting from Camberwell College of Arts in 2008. Since then, she’s assisted a number of professional artists, whilst also producing her own nature inspired artworks. Yuki recently moved from London to Wales where she now paints full-time and offers Hen Party life drawing in the Midlands and Wales. Her paintings have been exhibited across Europe and East Asia.
Life drawing tutor Kimberley is a Bristol based artist, freelance illustrator, filmmaker and experienced hen party tutor. As well as running regular art workshops exclusively for women in Bristol and at festivals around the UK, Kimberley has exhibited her work nationally; including in the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London and the Arnolfini. Creating work in a number of different disciplines, Kimberley incorporates spoken word, film, photography and, of course, life drawing into her work.
Hen party and teamwork life drawing tutor Bryony, originally from Liverpool but now living in the glorious Cotswolds. Her exciting global career includes modelling in Paris and London, working in 2 and 3-D, mixing all kinds from paint to plastics. A former Director of Southwest Open Studios she has taught in scout huts, universities and hospices with fabulous and fun results. A Master of Philosophy and expert dating coach on Channel 4 means you won’t be short of experience and encouragement to give your heart to your art and enjoy the fun. Bryony’s artwork has sold at the Royal Academy and overseas, and is treasured by many local collectors.
Scott is an artist with a contemporary 2D painting practice grounded in drawing with a figurative and suburban architectural focus and social critique. He is based in a studio in Hackney Wick, London but splits his time between London and Bristol. Scott has a solid technical understanding of creating work across various media including oil paint and different drawing materials. Scott has worked at The Queensland College of Art as a Studio Technician and painting tutor and led workshops at UK universities including Brunel and De Montfort. He has been a tutor in life drawing in private classes, hen parties and workshops for young people.
Scott is an actor, artist and life model with a diverse career and experience. His experience as an actor encompasses theatre, film and TV and he has an extensive physical theatre background traversing viewpoints, contact improvisation, some acro-balance and contemporary dance. Scott’s model work is dynamic and focused. He has previously modelled for The Prince’s Drawing School, Redbridge College and Candid Arts among others. Scott is available to model all over the South West, London and the Cotswolds.
