Diana is originally from Bulgaria, where in 2003 she graduated from the National Academy of Arts-Sofia and gained a master’s degree in restoration and conservation of paintings. She has lived in Scotland since 2011, where she paints from her studio in Edinburgh. She creates realistic and surrealistic paintings in different mediums like acrylic, watercolour and oil. Her paintings are part of private collections in the UK and Bulgaria. Now she is the mother of Alex, aged 3, and combines being a parent with painting.
Seth has been a life model at the Leith School of Art and Drummond College in Edinburgh. Aside from modelling he also likes taking his clothes off to perform in Edinburgh’s Beltane Fire Festival on Calton Hill. You won’t see him in trousers in his main job as he is a Scottish Blue Badge Tourist Guide, so he wears a kilt!
Glasgow hen party life drawing tutor Zoe is a fun and friendly tutor with a whole range of art skills and creative hen party ideas to keep you entertained. She is a textiles graduate with a degree from Heriot Watt and enjoys painting, sculpture, photography and collage, alongside her textile printing and drawing. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries in Glasgow and Edinburgh and she frequently collaborates with poets and designers to create thought-provoking pieces. Recently, she has taken up furniture restoration to fill her home with unique designs.

Fiona trained in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking at Edinburgh College of Art. She works as a freelance artist delivering arts projects and workshops in a variety of settings including pubs, museums and schools. She is an experienced tutor who enjoys engaging with people and encouraging their creativity, especially in the fun atmosphere of a hen party life drawing event. Based in East Lothan, Fiona teaches printmaking at the Poldrate Arts Centre where students exhibit annually. Her own practice as an artist involves working across many disciplines and she is currently developing a large scale printmaking project for Haddington and creating sculptures from bike tyres and inner tubes – curiosity drives her practice along with a sense for playfulness. Klarissa graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, in Fine Art and Philosophy. All that thinking has driven her artwork to madness, being filled with absurdity and silly humour; naked bodies dance to the tune that people are strange yet fascinating animals! Her first job after uni involved delivering art workshops to various primary schools and curating exhibitions showing their artworks. Currently a Hens With Pens life drawing tutor, she is also working with young people in a community centre in Glasgow; often found in the art room making a mess! Coffee, food and living with dogs and friends is the general theme tune to daily life!
Hen party nights specialist Axel is a French-born illustrator and designer based in Glasgow. As a life drawing model Axel always gives the most of himself into every job, he wants the client to be as happy with his work as he is with each session! When he is not drawing or modelling, you’ll find him rollerblading around town, taking pictures. Axel models for his own pieces on his website (axelgutapfel.com) He has a passion for posing and always looks for creative and unique poses as much as he can. He also does a lot of yoga and is extremely flexible.
Mark is a North East England based male life model who enjoys seeing people have a great time at hen party life drawing classes. He also models for artists, sculptors and photographers for a variety of different projects. Besides modelling he adores mountain biking, fell walking and simply being outside in the stunning landscapes of the North East. Mark’s other passion is travel – he has been lucky enough to travel extensively worldwide which, along with his sense of fun, gives him a unique perspective on living life to the full.
Gemma is currently a teacher at a complex needs school, and she works as a part-time tutor with Hens With Pens. She is full of hen party life drawing ideas and activities. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons) Drawing and Painting in 2005. Having recently returned to producing her own work, she enjoys attending weekly life drawing sessions and creating her own drawings and paintings at home. Gemma has also begun to exhibit her work across Scotland.
Jade is a ceramic artist and painter working and living in Scotland. Her work has been exhibited throughout the UK, Singapore and Canada. She graduated from The Glasgow School of Art with an MRes in Creative Practice in 2016. Her illustrative work examines femininity, modern aesthetics and classical themes, creating a juxtaposition of old and new. She is now a tutor with hen and sten party life drawing events and corporate team-building activities.
Gary is a life drawing tutor from Edinburgh and graduate of Animation from Edinburgh College of Art. In the past, he has participated in after-school animation workshops for children and has appeared as a guest lecturer for the University of Edinburgh’s Art Society. Now Gary is a tutor for hen parties, team-building events, special or corporate occasions. He regards Ridley Scott and the Impressionist movement as major influences on his work and has enjoyed screenings from the Edinburgh Filmhouse to as far afield as Bulgaria.
Hens With Pens life drawing and art activities tutor Joss graduated as a Botanical Illustrator, and exhibits her art on a regular basis, as well as teaching, art and craft. Joss is also a musician, a singer and a bagpiper! After teaching art in Ghana and then Australia, Joss has settled back in her hometown of Edinburgh and has been a life drawing tutor for over 8 years. Her classes are fun, creative and always memorable!
Alle is an interdisciplinary artist based in Edinburgh with 4 years of exhibitions. She has experience in teaching art – both on a one-to-one basis as well as facilitating and leading art workshops, including life drawing classes for hen parties and corporate team-building events.
